I have generally had a good level of care over many, many years from the surgery, but I have today got back from a hospital referral which has confirmed that I have a form of skin cancer. There is nothing particularly unusual about this but the sad thing is that it took five appointments and three different ointments to fail before I was referred to the consultant who took one look to confirm the diagnosis. I feel that it should have taken a maximum of three visits before the referral.

Every experience I have had with the doctors and staff at this surgery has been excellent. Opening hours also excellent. A pity that more surgeries don't operate on the same basis

I have been with this surgery for a number of year and I think it is an absolutely fantastic surgery. Staff are extremely friendly, considerate, always listen and try to help whatever the problem and I can always get an appointment. I was referred to the hospital due to a problem and was able to have the operation at the Wellesley. I have moved to Leigh but was adamant that I would stay at this surgery because of the exceptional care they offer. When I hear about the surgeries in other areas I realise how lucky I am to be able to go here and I would definitely recommend this to friends and family... in fact I keep trying to get them all to join it! I think this practise could show other surgeries particularly those in Rayleigh where my parents are, how it is done!
